Girls Inc. Welcomes New Cohort of Brand Ambassadors Lending their Voice On Issues Facing Girls Today
New York, New York – Nov. 16, 2023 – Girls Inc., the leadership organization inspiring girls to be strong, smart, and bold, is proud to announce the official launch of the third National Brand Ambassador Council cohort. Composed of 11 girls ages 16-18, the Brand Ambassador Council includes representation from across the Girls Inc. network. These Ambassadors were selected through a network-wide application process to serve as Girls Inc. spokespersons, amplifying the Girls Inc. brand and increasing awareness of the organization’s mission and work.
Fundamental to this initiative is providing young women the space and support to exercise their leadership skills and share their unique perspectives and insights. The Brand Ambassadors will work with leaders at Girls Inc. and across various sectors and industries; they will share their experiences at national events while engaging in professional development related to careers in media and marketing.
“Girls have something to say, and we are committed to leveraging our platforms to lift up their voices on issues they care about, and that the world should too,” said Dr. Stephanie J. Hull, President & CEO of Girls Inc. “This remarkable group of young women represents diverse backgrounds, experiences, and regions. They are eager to share their own stories and to support the organization’s success, and they want to help amplify issues and topics relevant to all girls.”
The 2023-2024 Brand Ambassador Council includes participants from Girls Inc. of Alameda County, Central Coast, Los Angeles and Orange County, California; Greater Houston, New York City, San Antonio, San Diego, Shelbyville and Shelby County, Indiana; Worcester, Massachusetts; and Pacific Northwest, Oregon.
