The 2017 Annual Girls Inc. Week, May 8-12, is dedicated to bringing awareness to bullying and harassment and how girls can be agents of change.
At Girls Inc., we are energized and committed to the work necessary to advance girls' rights and opportunities and one of our top advocacy priorities is ending bullying and harassment. It is our responsibility to make sure girls feel safe in school, at home, and in their communities.
Local Girls Inc. organizations across our network are participating in week-long activities to teach girls how they can be agents of change. They are reaching out to schools, parents, and sharing their pledge of how they plan on ending bullying and harassment.
We encourage you to spread the word about the pledge. On Thursday, May 11, we will share with the world one unified message, using Thunderclap, encouraging people to sign our pledge to end bullying and harassment. Join the Thunderclap campaign to spread our message even further!
