For over 50 years, Girls Incorporated has provided vital educational programs to millions of American girls, particularly those in high-risk, underserved areas. Today, innovative programs help girls confront subtle societal messages about their value and potential, and prepare them to lead successful, independent, and fulfilling lives.

Girls Incorporated Research Girls Incorporated is committed to staying in tune with the issues and concerns of today's girls. Our national surveys have shed light on the value of girls' rights and girls' communities.

President/CEO Biography Judy Vredenburgh joined Girls Inc. in 2010 and is leading the charge for strategic growth within the organization. Under her guidance, Girls Inc. is undertaking a five-year plan to help more girls, especially girls from low-income communities, grow up healthy, educated and independent.

About Programs Girls Incorporated is a national research, education, and direct advocacy organization that inspires girls to be strong, smart, and boldSM. Programs based on research gathered at the Girls Inc. National Resource Center encourage girls ages 6 to 18 to take risks and master physical, intellectual, and emotional challenges. Programs are offered through a network of 1,000 sites nationwide and are facilitated by trained professional staff.

Annual Report Girls Incorporated is a nonprofit organization that receives 77 percent of its revenue from public corporations, foundations, government grants, and individuals. The remainder comes from affiliate dues, fees, interest, and dividends. More than three-quarters of the organization's functional expenses go directly to support program services for girls.
